Personal Data of 6 Million Verizon Customers Was Leaked

Bad news if you’re a Verizon (VZ, +0.16%) customer: The telecommunications company confirmed Wednesday that the personal data of 6 million of its customers have leaked online.
Tech website ZDNet first reported the leak.
The issue was first discovered from the cybersecurity firm UpGuard, according to the ZDNet report. UpGuard declined to say how the leaked data was discovered.
